Along the course you will be able to understand the world of psychology and learn some of its important concepts. You will understand and learn about various concepts, disorders, some intervention techniques and therapies, this course would enable you to understand the environmental dynamics.  You will be able to identify if an individual would require professional help and you will be able to distinguish and understand their problem beyond the surface level and provide the basic level of psychology aid.

Scope and Purpose of CPA (Certification in Psychology Aid)

Mental health hygiene focuses to preserve the mental health.  Its emphasis is on the integration of the individuals mind, body and environment.  There might be various challenges, failures, success etc in one’s life (ups and downs), amidst all the turbulence in life when the individual restores back to mental balance and manages the life cycle without any affect, destruction and taking control and charge of one’s life, that individual would be mentally healthy and peaceful.

 

Functions, Malfunctions and Solutions are focused in the course.

»  Functions are the concepts that you will learn in module 2, our mental process function through most of the concepts, and we use them knowingly or unknowingly. After studying this module, you will be able to understand and get knowledge about how an individual functions and shapes into who you are. This module also enables you to understand others. You will be more aware about your personality, emotions etc and understand how biopsychology has an impact on your mental and physical growth.

»  Malfunctions are the disorders, when there are disturbances in our life through emotions, thoughts, stress, hormones, biopsychology etc, normal functioning of life is disturbed, there would be mental and physical imbalance. Through this Module 3, you will learn various mental disorders, which will help you gain knowledge and would enable you to understand and manage individuals who are going through the disorders, which might have caused by birth or  in the development of life.

»  Solutions are the therapies studied in module 4, after understanding the concepts, disorders, solutions are applied to have healthy peaceful life. This module exposes you to different therapies in the field of psychology, used for the wellbeing of an individual. Solutions are required to alter the lifestyle of the individual who is going through a difficult phase because of some malfunctions. Therapies would help the individual to get back into the normal functioning of life. Once the malfunction is recognized the functions must be understood and solutions must be given.
